Rødbyhavn District Heating

For 29 years, Rødbyhavn has supplied CO2 neutral heat from a Linka plant. Today, the heating plant has two 5.5 MW straw boilers.

When Rødbyhavn District Heating was established in 1988, Linka was commissioned to install a 4,000 kW straw boiler. Two years later, the heating plant on Lolland was expanded with a new 3,000 kW boiler line – also supplied by Linka.

To meet the increased demand in the area, we were commissioned in 2007 and 2011 to replace the existing boilers with two new 5,500 kW boiler lines. With this, Linka has been the supplier of all the boiler lines of the heating plant since the beginning 29 years ago.
