The boiler &#8211; a Linka\u00ae H model &#8211; is a 3-pass hot water boiler with cylindrical fire-tube design and an integrated, water-cooled step grate. It employs Linka\u2019s patented parallel flow combustion principle to maximise efficiency, energy utilisation, and minimise slag and particle emissions.<\/p>\n<p>Wood chips (up to 35% moisture) are automatically fed to the boiler via a stoker auger, with feed rate regulated by an oxygen (O\u2082) sensor.<\/p>\n<p>Fuel is stored in a 20-foot Linka fuel container with a hydraulic walking floor and integrated scraper conveyor, reliably delivering chips to the boiler. Such scraper systems are standard in Linka\u2019s wood chip installations.<\/p>\n<p>Flue gases are cleaned in a multicyclone before being drawn out by a frequency-controlled flue gas fan and led out through the existing chimney.
