In early 2013 Linka was tasked with delivering a new, turnkey straw plant, which will supply the entire area with reliable, CO2 neutral heat. The boiler is hereby designed for a better exploitation of the heat which results in better efficiencies and larger savings on fuel. In addition the boiler is designed for an operating pressure of 6 bars.&lt;\/p&gt;<br \/>\n&lt;p&gt;A straw crane ensures automatic fuel feed, where the straw bale is picked up from the storage and delivered into a safety box, also placed in the storage. The straw bale is then hydraulically moved into the cutter, which cuts off a slice that is fed into the boiler.&lt;\/p&gt;<br \/>\n&lt;p&gt;In addition a 1,000 m3 accumulator tank is installed. This can hold one million liters of water and hereby supply the entire area for 1-2 days, e.g. during service.&lt;\/p&gt;<br \/>\n&lt;p&gt;The automatic ash removal system transports the ash from the boiler to a 15 m3 ash container, placed outside the building.
