The switch to biofuel has already reduced prices on district heating in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Hjallerup Heating plant was looking to reduce the users\u2019 heating prices by installing a biomass plant, which will be the main heating source 7 months out of the year, when the solar heat cannot supply the entire area.<\/p>\n<p>The system\u2019s primary purpose is to supply Hjallerup and Klokkerholm with stable and environmentally friendly district heating.<\/p>\n<p>Linka was chosen to supply the system, as we were able to deliver a dependable plant to a competitive price.<\/p>\n<p>Hjallerup initially requested a 1,800 kW plant dimensioned for 2,300 kW. However, through dialogue with Linka it was decided that the plant should be dimensioned for 3,000 kW, to accommodate the area\u2019s increasing demand.<\/p>\n<p>Due to their easy access to cheap straw, it was decided beforehand that this would be the main fuel. Straw also offers the greatest impact on heating prices.<\/p>\n<p>The system is prepared for a switch to wood pellets in case an alternative fuel is needed in the future.&#8221; text_color_type=&#8221;uncode-palette&#8221; text_color_solid=&#8221;#ff0000&#8243;]Green heating supply with financial gain[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=&#8221;h4&#8243; text_size=&#8221;h4&#8243; uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;381249&#8243; subheading=&#8221;The implemented solution was a 3,000 kW hot water boiler based on straw as primary fuel. The TWIN shredder is automatically fed by an installed straw crane which ensures a highly automated plant. In addition an automatic string remover is also installed on the conveyor.<\/p>\n<p>The 5-pass boiler is designed for a more efficient use of the heat, which causes higher efficiencies and a larger saving on fuel.<\/p>\n<p>The biomass plant is developed to handle a varying quality in straw.
