Uman Greenhouse Complex is one of Ukraine\u2019s leading growers of vegetables among other cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce, under glass. The plant is situated in the Uman area about 200 kilometers south of the capital city Kiev. The vegetables are grown in 14,000 m\u00b2 glasshouses, where a constant temperature is needed.” text_color_type=”uncode-palette” text_color_solid=”#ff0000″]High flexibility and a high security of supply with big savings on heating prices[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h4″ text_size=”h4″ uncode_shortcode_id=”148479″ subheading=”The straw plant at Uman Greenhouse Complex consists of a Linka\u00ae TWIN straw shredder installed with a 39-meter conveyor. An automatic destringer is delivered together with the straw handling equipment. A 5,000 kW Linka\u00ae H hot water boiler has a built-in step grate. Along with Linka\u2019s patented combustion technology this ensures optimal use og the fuel. The ash is automatically transported outside the plant to a nearby ash pit.<\/p>\n

The straw system is also prepared for a bag filter, which will clean the flue gas and hereby reduces dust emissions.
