Internship for Energy/Mechanical Engineering Students

At Linka Energy, we offer an internship where you’ll actively contribute to the green transition – right at the core of our projects.
About the internship
As an intern with us, you’ll gain practical insight into technical design, energy production, and system service and maintenance. You’ll join a committed project team and follow the process from idea to commissioning.
You’ll be working with tasks such as:
- Designing and calculating technical solutions in CAD/3D
- Preparing documentation and project materials
- Participating on-site in commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting
- Gaining insight into emission standards, fuel selection, and process optimisation
- Collaborating with project managers, service engineers, and technician
- Are currently enrolled in an energy or mechanical engineering programme (preferably 3rd–6th semester)
- Are interested in biomass, biogas, and sustainable technology
- Have experience with CAD, process analysis, or automation
- Are curious, structured, and a team player
- Additional qualifications could include familiarity with SCADA systems, thermal processes, or emissions regulations.
- Gain hands-on experience with advanced bioenergy and process systems
- Receive close guidance from experienced colleagues and managers

Duration: By agreement
Start date: As soon as possible (flexible by arrangement)
Location: Nylandsvej 38, 6940 Lem St., Denmark (incl. site visit)
Mentor: Experienced project or service manager
