COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

– ENERGY PLANTS

LINKA GROUP in Lem, Denmark, is looking for a Commissioning Engineer.

You will be responsible for the commissioning and installation of CO2-neutral energy plants in Denmark and abroad, using the latest technology in biomass, process, and waste boiler systems, primarily for industries and district heating.

You are highly motivated to work with CO2-neutral solutions.

The Position

The Commissioning Engineer position reports to the company’s Operations Director. You will play a central role in the organization, working on the commissioning and installation of energy plants for selected energy projects in Denmark and abroad.

You will be part of a team of experienced colleagues who offer significant support and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordination and management of commissioning and installation of energy plants.
  • Daily coordination of subcontractors during commissioning.
  • Optimization of plants and execution of SAT.
  • Ensuring adherence to schedules, progress, and budget.
  • Conducting performance tests and ensuring project approval and handover.
  • General coordination and ongoing dialogue with customers and partners.

As you will be working with both Danish and international clients, expect significant travel – approximately 100-170 days annually.

The Candidate

You are characterized primarily as an engaged person who thrives on taking initiative and making things happen. You value timely communication and dialogue and are ready to handle both theoretical and practical tasks.

You have a relevant professional background, possibly as a marine engineer, mechanical engineer, HVAC technician, or similar. Ideally, you have experience in the energy sector and have previously worked with commissioning and installation tasks, covering both mechanical and electrical aspects.

You are comfortable with the fact that project-based work can often be unpredictable, requiring quick yet well-informed decisions. You are a technical problem-solver who can act independently and results-oriented.

Your professional skills likely include:

  • A degree as a marine engineer, mechanical engineer, HVAC technician, or similar.
  • Knowledge of combustion plants, including control and regulation systems.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are characterized by high integrity, self-confidence, and a positive attitude.
You are persistent, ready to tackle challenges, and enjoy going to work.
