Use of personal data

We never collect personal data without you providing us with this information when registering, purchasing or making an enquiry, etc. Typically, information such as name, address, postal code, country, e-mail and telephone number is collected.

The personal data is used to carry out the service for which the data was collected. The information is also used to get to know you and other users of the website better. This use may include, but is not limited to, surveys and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies, and the display of content and advertising tailored to your interests and hobbies.

We will not use your personal data for marketing purposes unless this is clearly stated in the context in which you have registered the data.

Protection of personal data

According to the Personal Data Act, your personal information must be kept safe and confidential. We store your personal information on limited-access computers located in controlled facilities, and our security measures are reviewed on an ongoing basis to determine whether our user information is being handled securely and with due regard to your rights as a user. However, we cannot guarantee 100 percent security for data transfers over the Internet. You therefore provide your personal information at your own risk. In the event of a breach of our security, you will be informed.

Personal data is deleted or anonymised on an ongoing basis as the purpose for which it was collected is completed.

Your rights

To the extent that personal data about you is processed, you have the right under the Personal Data Act to know which personal data can be attributed to you. If the information or data processed about you is found to be inaccurate or misleading, you have the right to request that it be corrected, deleted or blocked. You can object to the processing of your data at any time. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. You have the right to complain about the processing of information and data relating to you. Complaints must be submitted to the Data Protection Authority, cf. Section 58(1) of the Personal Data Act.

Personal data will never be disclosed to third parties unless you explicitly consent to this.

We therefore reserve the right to update and amend these guidelines for the processing of personal data. If we do, we will correct the “last updated” date at the bottom of the page. In case of significant changes, we will notify you by means of a visible notice on our website.
